A bomb threat to a New York City hotel room has led authorities to search for an assailant who was able to detonate the device before police arrived.
Sources told ABC News that a woman at the Four Seasons hotel room in Midtown Manhattan had called police after she was threatened with a bomb.
Authorities were able to secure the room before police could arrive, and a bomb squad robot was used to locate the device.
Authorities say the woman, who was not injured, did not know who was responsible.
She was booked into jail and charged with criminal possession of a weapon, criminal damage to property, and reckless endangerment.
